Hi Juan, I too live in FL and had raised a zebra for several years. You have to totally know that zebras are 'wild animals' and can be dangerous. They take zillions of hours of daily work to keep them manageable, and even that is no guarantee. They live to well over 20 years, so it is a very long time investment.
First of all, however, you need to be find out about Florida's regulations pertaining to owning exotics, some of which include qualifying for a license, 6 ft fencing, approved shelter, approved sized pasture, etc., etc.
THE MOST important thing, however, is to line up a veterinarian in your area who is knowledgeable and willing to care for a zebra...as most are not. If I can be of further help, please let me know.
BTW, I know Donna personally to be a very reputable, trustworthy and knowledgeable person reguarding many animal species, including exotics.
