Found some. Guy said they were 60 lb bales of good alfalfa for $7 per bale. Not out of line if they really were that weight. Got there and the sizes were pretty mixed. I started picking out the ones I wanted, then one of the farm hands came to help. I stacked while he threw junk out to me. Got some good ones but also some light grassy ones. Guess that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Was 18° at our house last night, so had some cold Z's. Filled them up with grain and alfalfa about 11:00 last night and they came through fat and happy. Tonight is supposed to be a few degrees warmer. If we don't have wind they will do okay.
