I am a new poster on Zebra Mania, refered by Sue, a great person who has started my knowledge in zebra ownership. Ok, we all know that the zebra is the only or the second only equine we have not "domesticated". Why is this? I imagine that at some point horses were the same way, dangerous, etc. Zebras are wonderful, interesting animals, but I dont understand why zebras are like forgotten about. My other question is, I know about the place in california, but where else in the country closer to florida can i buy one? Congratulations to everyone who already has a zebra!!, honestly, I think its an amazing experiance. Does anyone board zebras, and what could be the good/bad consequences about it? Lastly, what would be the average price for a tame, and by tame I mean a zebra that at least can be touched, lead, etc?
