'Twas the night before Christmas
And all through the site,
Not an entry was stirring,
Not a bit nor a byte.
The keyboards were silenced,
Their users, to bed.
With visions of stripes
All stocked in their heads.
With hopes for the morrow
Filled with joy and good cheer.
That Santa will visit
Pulled by 8 tiny deer.
But what if this night,
Something new, something rad.
Something heretical,
Something quite mad!
Instead of 8 flying reindeer
From artic conditions,
There were 8 boisterous zebras,
A tropical vision!
The world might questions
This black and white shift.
But we with our daring
Only say, "What if!"
So dream on, believers,
Dream bold and dream bright!
For tomorrow is Christmas,
To all a good night!
