Back to the forum Re: Your Mama Homework!
I vaguely remember Crazy Steve, but not why we called him that. He said something about smelling things and how you're smelling physcial particles, like atoms of what whatever it is you're smelling. Of course, he immediately pointed out that smelling a fart meant feces in your nose. What a world. Martin, we were watching an episode of HBO's Reverb, featuring Pavement and Built to Spill and some other band, maybe Caustic Resin? I remember watching it and not realizing that Pavement and BTS were two different bands. I thought Steven Malkmus and Doug Martsch were the same guy for most of the night. Anyway, that was at a senior night/graduation party at Charlie's house. I was invited and asked to invite like 5 other people. I was more popular than Charlie and invited some friends of mine, like Stewart Boyd and Jennifer O'Neal. Watching VHS tapes of Reverb was not what they would have considered a "party". I had a good time at that party but felt bad for inviting those folks. Also, I think me and Lew had that tape in 267. I know I watched it a lot. I think I got my copy of Keep it Like a Secret from Musicquarium. I know I got my copy of BTS Live from Uncle Buck's, and I know I burned a copy of Perfect From Now On on Lew's computer in 267. I have no idea what Lewis's original post meant. Are we supposed to be working on a Neil Young cover?
