Crookz stays back.. as Shotgun gets to his feet first, and Jericho gets up quickly after.
They go to lock up, and Shotgun throws something in his eyes.
Whoa!!
Where'd that red powder come from??
Jericho can't see shit, and Shotgun drills him in the stomach - with a HARD boot.
He lifts him up...
When suddenly --
Crookz watches on - as Carlos A. Shotgun connects with a superior BULLET BOMB!!
The crowd errupts, and Shotgun goes for the cover....
".......1.......
Crookz looks on...
.......2..........
Crookz drops the "block of concrete" on Carlos Shotgun's head.
That breaks the 3-count, and The Original is still alive!!
The fans cheer momentarily... as Crookz lifts Shotgun to his feet - he drills him in the mid-section, and sets him up for what looks to be a Pedigree - and attempts to drop him with the DROP ZONE.
The people are stunned!!
As Shotgun tries to lift Crookz up over his back, and dump him over the top lime green rope--
However, Crookz instead reverses it in to a Power Bomb of his own, and tosses Shotgun to the outside - with a Crookz bomb!!
That's it.
CARLOS SHOTGUN has been ELIMINATED!!
The fans don't know what to think - and Crookz looks exhausted.
He stares out at Carlos Shotgun.. as he lays on the outside of the ring - not sure quite where he is yet. It must've been that "Punishment Factor", or the "Crookz Bomb" that did the job. - Might have even been that "block of concrete" that did him in.
2 men remain - The Original Jericho, and The Punisher Crookz.
Both men who started the XTREME TROPHY GAUNTLET - are the only two men left!!
Crookz turns around, and spots Jericho lying on the mat --
Crookz looks around at all the weapons, and stares up out at the XWF Crowd in attendance.
It's SOLD OUT, and the fans are chanting "Jericho! Jericho! Jericho!"
Crookz looks down at his counterpart, and decides to drop a BIG LEG on him!!
The fans start to boo, and Crookz looks around surprised.
Were they mad he was beating up Jericho? Or upset about him eliminating Shotgun??
Or - were they just pulling for "The Original" Jericho to make a grand return to the XWF- Squared Circle ??
Either way. Crookz laid his arm over Jericho's chest, and the count began.....
".......1....
...this could be the end.....
....2.....
........
Jericho must be shaken up from that Bullet Bomb earlier, and that massive Big Leg he just had dropped on him - because, he doesn't get up for this one.... "....3!"
Crookz has done it. He lasted from #1 - the FINAL SUPERSTAR remaining, and he is now the XTREME TROPHIAN.
And - he also gets a shot at the XWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.....
The fans have a mixed reaction - but, generally - most of them are cheering for the victor of the gauntlet. He lasted over an hour, and picked up the first win of the 2008 SEASON!!"
