Phan: I remember that hassle about the WWE thing too, but I think it was probably bullshit because that's when I had discovered someone using the Jesse Jones character along with the "Mad Dogging", both of which I had trademarked due to the (now completely defunct) book deal. I had sent them emails requesting a stoppage and they complied, but soon after you received the "WWE" emails. If those were real, I'm sure they were tipped off by the guys I caught.
Mike: I think you misunderstood me. I freely admit that the accomplishments of Jones were a little lacking. Phan inducted Jones, but I always felt it was more of a nod to Me, personally, not the character. That's why I was EXTREMELY confused when John Studd was inducted. In terms of characters, who belongs more? Studd does. Dominating champion of all belts. In fact, Studd never even lost the Intercontinental Belt, he gave it up because he wanted the Int. Championship. And that was at the time I was using Maxx Payne as well. 2 guys at once, and one of them was a big name guy.
You want to talk about HHH and Jericho keeping this place afloat? Hell, look no further than Studd. I may have not recruited... I may not have contributed to writing... I didn't contribute much when named an RP'ers aid (though I will take credit for Sam Hill's development-- early only, he took off after I was gone)... but what "Studd" did was keep the place from imploding. Around the first time you started neglecting the fed, before you turned it over, results were weeks behind and people were leaving. The big CORE, though, was torn and I contacted everyone in the fed and we made a pact to stay based on a conversation you and I had. You agreed to post blurbs of unimportant matches and focus on the big ones, which saved results and the fed for awhile. Again, when it began to happen, you agreed to find help, and you did.
Mike, you and I have always had a love-hate relationship. We loved that we pretty much couldn't live without each other in this fed, but we hate each other because we know we COULDNT live without each other. Now it's different. We know this is it.
I came back out of respect. I didn't want to bring up that request that I had made, but since you did... yeah, I made that request and pretty much felt that way until everyone started bringing up the fact that Jones didn't win it. I HATED being champion as Studd. What I loved about Jones was that I could rp in the matches I wanted to and swallow the losses when I didn't feel like writing. Jones was fun and imaginative. Studd was bland and forced and a hassle.
So, thank you for respecting my wishes, because it certainly would have destroyed Jones before he fully developed into the Mad Dog.
Now, as soon as I figure out how to post an RP with my HTML setup on a site that wont disappear on October 6th (geocities is closing down as a free service! everyone beware!), I will finally get my rp's up. I've already written them, I just need to copy and paste them into HTML. They probably suck, but I don't care if I win or lose, I'm just here to see how it ends.
