I understand what you're saying. But, the beginning of the XWF's success- is more important than what happened down the stretch. Because, if we didn't have a solid opening, and create storylines, and dominat characters.. there would be no XWF. There would be no goals to reach, and no- accomplishments set.
Sure, back then-- roleplaying wasn't as good. But, Jericho, and HHH- were very important characters. You DO realize that it was ME.. Jericho-- who went over to ANOTHER XWF site-- because, they were trying to recruit OUR XWF guys.. and-- I ended up adding a few superstars from THEIR roster-- including XAVIER SUMMERS. "The Platinum God" Jeff Jericho- and "BIG MATT" were two of the men- who competed against HHH, Jericho, and Studd.. at our first MAJOR pay per-view.... "INVASION: Worlds Collide". That is the PPV that jump started this company, and it was Jericho-- as the Intercontiental Champion- who was the lone-survivor.. over- you (as Studd), and my brother (as HHH). Despite the fact that I was the owner... I was still one of the top Roleplayers- regardless. I'm also the reason why Mars, War Machine, YOURSELF, Benoit, and others even returned... during the OLD SCHOOL Invasion- which was the biggest move- in our company's history. During that stretch-- 9LP was made in to a star, and guys like Shawn Taylor, The Guerillas, Jack Tanner, Tommy Ravnos, Jesse Jones, and others emerged. Right at the end of that era-- Carlos Shotgun-- was recruited by my brother, and that brought Falkenyork along-- because, I was posting things on the BOW site- at that point.
I've been recruiting, writing results, and doing roleplays-- for YEARS. I put a lot of work in, and if people didn't feel Jericho, or HHH earned their respect-- fine. But, THEY were HALL OF FAMERS-- wayyy before Jesse Jones, or Number 8's breath were even mentioned for it... and they were held out...
CARLOS SHOTGUN- no offence. But, Jericho, and HHH did more for the XWF- than you did...... because, they accomplished it BEFORE you did.
THEN-- much like when I was President- and in control. Falkenyork, and Benoit were in control.. and so was Dan Cowhey-- and that is when Carlos Shotgun, and Chris Falkenyork were made in to stars. I wasn't around to know much else- of what was going on, and that era- was HUGE for the XWF's progress. But, the Unlikely Alliance- was the original swerve, and the Old School invasion- brought back all the greats to compete....
Jesse Jones accomplshed more than Jericho in the XWF? No way. It's just impossible. When there were no Main Eventers, and people weren't showing up... Jericho kept the league afloat, and so did HHH. We always showed up, and it pushed guys like Mars, and War Machine.. to the HALL OF FAME. It's funny- because, HHH, and Jericho are partially responsible for their success-- but, they were never added to the HALL OF FAME? Why??

I'm not sure. I know there was a time- that nobody liked me as President, and didn't want to see HHH on top of the company. But, point blank-- those 2 characters changed the face of this company forever. You, and Jack Tanner, and War Machine... you deserve your credit. You've been around for YEARS. From the beginning, and you all had success in different eras. But, the Hall of Fame list- is crap- in my eyes. I never liked the additions... Sam Hill gets added-- and- trust me-- I LOVED his character. Me, and him- had a GREAT feud- when I was THE ROCK. But, you simply overlooked 2 of the most important guys- in our company's history.
If anything- Chris Benoit should have been added YEARS ago. Before- Mars, or War Machine. But, that's just one man's opinion.
Yes-- Savior was no good. Yes- the John Studd era lacked skill. But, the opening of the company- was MOST important-- because, it gave the XWF idenity. It's the reason why guys like Shotgun, Falkenyork, Crookz, Cade Silver, and others-- decided to join the company, and dominate at the top-level.
I RESPECT YOU ALL. Everyone who is here now. Everyone in the HALL OF FAME-- is cool by me. But, you guys missed some names. PERIOD. Jesse Jones didn't deserve to be added THAT early-- especially- before certain past- Champions. Granted-- John Studd was fine to add-- and you- as a handler.... well, it's like THE PHAN. He should be added for the Guerillas, for Dr. Evil, for Dan Cowhey. He did it ALL. But, as a President- he's in the HALL OF FAME, and The Phan- had a great career.. but, now-- he's got to earn it... by beating-- a HALL OF FAMER- War Machine, and trust me-- War Machine, and Mars are the 2 guys you didn't miss on, and Carlos Shotgun deserves a Hall of Fame spot... but, not before the ORIGINAL HALL OF FAMERS were added. You missed an ENTIRE era... and when guys like me, and my brother, Suicide King, and 9LP were retired-- they went unnoticed in the selection process... and others- like Jesse Jones, and Number 8, and Sam Hill were added. Sam Hill was alright. Number 8- okay. You- as Jesse Jones- not bad. You all essentially deserve the HALL OF FAME. But, you missed 3 of the best World Champions ever. Where was 9LP all along?
Oh well. Chris Falkenyork didn't add himself in the Hall of Fame, and I respect him for that. HE KNOWS what it's like to roleplay, and run the company.. HE KNOWS it's hard not to push yourself to the top- when you're the best out there. HE KNOWS-- it's not easy running the federation, and competiting in it.... it's not easy, and me, and my brother busted our ####ing asses... and we weren't even mentioned in our own HALL OF FAME. Say what you want-- Jesse Jones didn't deserve it. Your character didn't do HALF the shit we did... up until that point. NOW- you're World Champion. NOW-- you have accomplished a little more. BUT, then-- at that point--- HHH should have been added-- you guys were just hating on him. It's not who you personally like.. it's about who MADE A DIFFERENCE in the XWF. Without HHH... there is no XWF.......
He wrote results for over a year, and he was a great champion during that time. He was believable as a leader, and the Old School invasion- worked our brilliantly. We brought back MANY guys to action, and restarted the XWF- right- at - that- moment.
And- yeah- The Phan started his own era-- right after Benoit. And I didn't catch much of the Falkenyorker- era. But, I want to THANK YOU ALL who participated. Guys like Shiru Venchiez (spelling??) .. and others who I noticed - when I checked in.. THANK YOU. I like what you did with the place. I like that you kept it alive. I like that the talent got better, and that matches- were more historical. But, DON'T FORGET WHERE YOU COME FROM. And you guys forgot....
THAT'S why there's HALL OF FAME spots up for grabs. I want you all to EARN IT NOW. Since you are here-- you came back- for ONE NIGHT ONLY. You deserve to be sent off the right way-- if YOU WIN. If you SHOW UP, and you COMPETE for your spot.
I love ya Jones. Your handler was one of our first World Champions, and-- you asked that Jesse Jones would never be shoved to the top.. so- I never put you in the World Title scene. You had the best Summer of 2008.. with Carlos Shotgun a very close- second, and Jon Hampton surprised me-- by making XWF his home. Falkenyork, myself - as Jericho, Rage, Xavier Summers, War Machine.. you all showed up, and worked hard. I want to thank you guys for coming back, and trying your best.
I HOPE there's no hard feelings. I've only done- what I felt was right- at the time. And- I'm back- to close- this place- FOR GOOD. The XWF was started back in 1998... and - it deserves a fitting exit. And you all- deserve.. a proper send-off. So, try your best. Glad to have you all back- for "XTREME MANIA DECADE".
