I kind of made that decision on the fly-- and I only had like 30 minutes to decide if I wanted to do that or not. But, hey-- we've got until the end of this month-- so, we'll be okay with these changes.
I know you want to eliminate the Hall of Fame thing- altogether. But, to be honest-- I wasn't happy about the original Hall of Fame inductees.
No offense- but, Number 8 shouldn't have been in the Hall. Because, he didn't do much here.. certainly there's 10 other wrestlers who deserved it more. You guys should have inducted HHH, Jericho, and Benoit.. you may not have wanted to-- because, they were all real wrestlers... but, they all did a SHIT TON more than Jesse Jones.
John Studd, Mars, and War Machine- sure, I agree with those picks.. they were great superstars for us- for a long period of time. But, Carlos Shotgun, and Jesse Jones were inducted way too early... and guys- like 9LP got over looked YEARS AGO. I'm not sure who picked the original Hall of Fame-- but, I'm not going to argue with them... because, they helped carry this federation. When I had NO TIME-- they took over, and I missed a majority of the seasons. It was a solid 2 years I missed from the XWF action. I checked in to see the Dual Championship feuds- and shit like that. But, I missed a big chunk of the time- here.
None the less-- the list- is what it is...
1. John Studd
2. HHH
3. Mars
4. Carlos Shotgun
5. War Machine
6. President- Dan Cowhey
7. President- Fran
8. Sam Hill
9. Jesse Jones
10. Crimson Tide
11. Number 8
12. 9LP
That is a solid- dozen- for the XWF: Hall of Fame. By the end of October-- we will induct about 5-6 more guys, and it should be fun.
A year- from now-- I'll log back in to the site, and I'll induct 2-3 more guys, and I'll do that every year. Maybe one of these summers- we'll bring it back again. Maybe 5 years down the road-- we'll have a reunion season ?? Who knows. For now-- this is the last card- in XWF History. And because we have a majority of the guys I want back-- I'm happy- with this exit. It'll be nearly impossible for us to get you all back again. And- I like the returning roster. Quite possibly- the best overall- roster-- we've ever had..
