The match starts off- with the official announcement:
“THIS NEXT MATCH-UP… is for the XWF World Heavyweight Championship!!
…It is the FINALS- for the Second Chance Tournament, and Jesse Jones will have to defeat Carlos Shotgun- in 2- back- to - back matches.. If he is to be the winner tonight. All - Carlos Shotgun must do-- since- he won his 2 previous tournament matches… is- defeat - Jesse Jones.. ONE TIME… and- he will be rewarded with the XWF CHAMPIONSHIP. Thank you.. -- and now-- for the contestants….
“JESSE JONES!!”
Out comes the Mad Dogg- to some crazy- xtreme music, and he slowly makes his way out. He claps the XWF fans hands- as he makes his way down the ramp, and even circles- the ring.. Clapping as many hands as possible. He grabs a kid’s poster- that says-- “YOU JUST GOT MAD DOGGED!” .. He holds it up for the cameras, and slides back - in to the ring.
And his opponent--
“CARLOS SHOTGUN!”
Out comes Carlos Shotgun- to a series of cheers- from the crowd. They seem to be somewhat- split.. In the decision. But, a lot of them- seem to have Carlos Shotgun’s back- at this point in the evening. But, judging by the last match-- for the Xtreme Trophy.. You can - tell.. That- these fans- can turn at any moment.
There’s 128,000 fans- in this new Dallas, Texas Stadium…
As Carlos walks up the steel steps, and stands out on that XWF apron-- he looks around- the stadium, and soaks it all in. He’s a veteran- and he’s been in this spotlight before- Unlike- Jesse Jones.. Who hasn’t been a consistent star in the XWF.. He’s not too familiar with these type of Main Events. Sure, he’s been on a lot of Weekly Shows, and he’s fought on his fair- share - of XWF Pay-Per Views.. But, he’s not use- to having to compete for the XWF Championship- like this…. Not on- this stage…
Carlos Shotgun steps through the ropes, and he walks right up to Jesse Jones’. They are face- to - face.. For the 2nd time tonight. Earlier-- Carlos Shotgun took advantage of Jesse Jones’ miscue, and scored himself a victory-- via- the SHARP SHOOTER. Now, the referee is in between them, and he has that XWF CHAMPIONSHIP raised high-- above them.. With their faces- not- but- 2 inches from each other. This is definitely an historic moment- for this company, and- these XWF Fans are taking a massive amount of photos, and making sure- they get- to capture this event.
The referee steps back, and hands the XWF Title-- to one of the men- on the outside. He looks at both men, and makes sure they’re ready-- and he calls- for the BELL…
*DING* *DING*
And this match-- is underway.
Strap- yourselves in-- we might be here awhile.
This- MAIN EVENT-- has got me-- locked in, and I’ve got goose bumps. Can you believe it?
I sure can. I barely can hear myself think- right now. This crowd- is crazy out here!!
These XWF Fans are very loyal, and they expect a great show here tonight… especially between these 2.
The match gets started with Carlos Shotgun, and Jesse Jones locking up. Carlos throws him in to a quick- side-headlock, and Jesse pushes him off towards the ropes… Carlos bounces back, and knocks Jesse Jones down-- with a shoulder block. He takes back off- towards the ropes, and Jesse Jones stands up. He leaps over Carlos Shotgun-- as he bounces back, and when Carlos hits the ropes-- and bounces back-- towards Jesse Jones he’s met- with a Spinning Heel Kick-- that knocks Carlos Shotgun-- through the ropes-- and down to the outside mat!
The fans explode!!
They’re probably happy to see Jesse Jones on the offensive. He was able to hold his own- against Jon Hampton- for awhile there.. But, “The Messiah of Xtreme“-- HHH simply pulverized him, and Carlos Shotgun didn’t give him an inch-- that entire match.
Jesse Jones rests up on the inside, and waits for Carlos Shotgun to get back- in- on his own. Carlos steps up on the apron-- afraid to roll in under the bottom rope--
Or just smart enough-- not to get the boots put to him…
He stands up on the apron, and waits for Jesse Jones to move back-- once he does.. He steps in, and Jesse attacks--
He charges in, and they lock up. Jesse backs Carlos up in to the corner-- with a choke hold, and Carlos tries to fight him off. He eventually drills Jesse with a knee shot- to the gut, and actually- executes a head-butt-- that stalls Jesse for a moment, and allows Carlos to mount the turnbuckle. Once- he does- he leaps off- the 2nd- turnbuckle, and Jesse catches him, and immediately spins- around, and slams- him to the canvas-- in one- swift- move!!
Ouch! That was harsh.
Carlos Shotgun will be feeling that one in the morning…
Jesse Jones makes the cover……
