Rage bursts in to Michael Lucente's office, and walks straight to his desk. Lucente stands up out of his chair, and he looks shocked to see him
MICHAEL LUCENTE: Rage.. what a pleasent surprise...
RAGE: ...I want to know.. one thing.... what are you planning to do with me?
MICHAEL LUCENTE: What do you mean?
RAGE: Me, and Crimson Tide won.. and - we want our tag team title shot...
MICHAEL LUCENTE: I haven't decided what to do with the TAG TITLES yet... it's hard to say at this point..... but, I have other plans for you--
RAGE: "Other" plans?
MICHAEL LUCENTE: Yes.... ...after tonight's match.... I liked what I seen from "The Original" Jericho, and I feel he needs a proper opponent.. for this final.. XTREME MANIA DECADE card...
RAGE: "The Original"?
MICHAEL LUCENTE: Yes.... I was thinking-- after I decide what to do with the TAG TITLES... well, lets put it this way-- ... the XTREME TROPHY is-- special. I mean, it went through a lot of hands last summer.... it started with CROOKZ.. went on to FALKENYORK, and now.. JERICHO has it. But, I see something in you Rage... you have so much potential. It's a shame we don't have more time. But, in order to do your run justice. In order to give you the proper send off, and the best oppurtunity... well, that'll be against "The Original" Jericho--
RAGE: If that's the case Lucente... then.... so- be it! I wouldn't like nothing more.. than to tear Jericho apart-- limb- from limb...... and- I watched his match earlier..... let- me tell you something Lucente... I won't take it easy on him. I won't just use steel chairs, or bells, and whistles... oh no.. I'm going all out-- at XTREME MANIA DECADE! I'm going to set my place.. in XWF History. I'm going to--
MICHAEL LUCENTE: That reminds me. I'm sorry to interrupt you. But, .. I was just going to say.. there's one more added stipulation. Besides the obvious Xtreme Rules- for the Xtreme Trophy... there will also be... a HALL OF FAME spot..up for grabs. It appears- that- neither you.. or "The Original" are in the XWF Hall of Fame... therefore... the winner of that match.. will not only retire with that Xtreme Trophy- but, they will also-- be inducted.. in to the HALL OF FAME!!
--Just then-- Crimson Tide steps out from behind Rage--
CRIMSON TIDE: Mr. Lucente
MICHAEL LUCENTE: Jesus, Tide.. were you behind him the whole time?
CRIMSON TIDE: Always..
--Dead silence fills the room--
CRIMSON TIDE: Listen, Lucente.... I want my spot--
MICHAEL LUCENTE: You know what Crimson Tide.. you will get your Hall of Fame spot. You will get your plaque. You were the first man- to ever sign an XWF contract with me.. you get your spot in the Hall of Fame. And- I'll tell you what... I have a certain... proposition for you...... I feel bad- because, you may, or may not- get a chance to win those XWF Tag Titles- that I promised you would. And- I know- that's not right.. you guys won fair, and square.. you deserve something. So, I awarded Rage with his match, and his chance to win a spot in to the HALL OF FAME.. and I have granted you- Crimson Tide- your rightful spot in the Hall of Fame.. you will join "The Messiah of Xtreme" HHH, and Mars, and War Machine, and John Studd, and the many others-- that have graced that XWF Hall of Fame...... but, your job-- will be- to face-- CADE SILVER.....
CRIMSON TIDE: Cade Silver?
MICHAEL LUCENTE: Yes, that's right.. and you will be.. taking him on-- in a CRIMSON MASK- match.
CRIMSON TIDE: You serious?
MICHAEL LUCENTE: Dead- serious...
CRIMSON TIDE: Just- my kind of match. All I got to do.. is make this sucker bleed? Well, it'll be a pleasure- to defend my name.. and defend my honor.. as the CRIMSON ONE.....
MICHAEL LUCENTE: I thought you'd like that twist..... Now, I'd like to say-- I know what's going to happen with the TAG TITLES.. but, I don't...... the plan- right now.. is to have a LADDER MATCH..... ..with all- the XWF SUPERSTARS.. that WANT to compete in the event....... -- and whoever- are the first 2 men- to grab the TITLES.. will be rewarded, and will retire.. as the XTREME WRESTLING FEDERATION- TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS.... and- so.. you guys may have another oppurtunity to do some damage- at Xtreme Mania Decade.... if you want-- ?
RAGE: You're telling me.. I might be able to retire with the TAG TEAM TITLE, and the XTREME TROPHY.. in ONE NIGHT??
MICHAEL LUCENTE: Well, you're the only guy -- besides "The Original" - who can retire that XTREME TROPHY, and earn a Hall of Fame spot... but, yes-- you, Crimson Tide, Cade Silver, hell-- Jericho, Jesse Jones, Chris Falkenyork, War Machine, Carlos Shotgun... hell- STEPHEN BLOOD... hell- anybody-- could win those TAG TEAM TITLES. You will all- get- to- cut ONE PROMO, and explain why.. you deserve to retire those XWF TAG TEAM TITLES!!
RAGE: Sounds good to me. I'll be there....
MICHAEL LUCENTE: Glad to have you on the team, and I wish you the best of luck. Seriously Rage-- thank you... thank you for your time, and patience... for your honesty- and for your passion... you are a hell of a competitor. And- it's been a pleasure....
RAGE: Thank you Lucente. I'll make sure- to give "The Original" Jericho... the XTREME fight of his LIFE!!
