I read a comment, i'm not sure from who. He said that everyone involved in the original XWF has grown up, now we hold jobs, some of us have kids, some are married, and some are missing. How true that is.
I have kept my silence and till tonight, I haven't even checked the XWF board at all. Jon Hampton, who I consider a very good friend, told me of this so called final reunion. I shrugged it off. I laughed. I downright didnt care.
But I guess my current state of drunkness drove me to here. To be honest, I'm bored. To be honest, I'm not sure why I'm posting this. To be honest, I might very well regret writing this tomorrow.
The truth is, XWF was years ago. It holds a very special place for all of us. Yes we have all changed, but I dont know about you guys, but thinking back, it still brings a stupid little smile to my face. Having time to write constant RPs every week was such a treat. Our little feuds, our grudges, our arguments, they were part of the magic of being in an efed. I have long since retired and honestly, I dont think i will ever return full time.
That said, i wish the best to all of you and I hope you are all doing well. It's weird talking about this so many years after but this chapter has to end.
York vs Shotgun is needed for XM Finale. York is not fond of the idea, but I will ####ing drag his ass one last time into the ring. We will all do our best three times, in three RPs and then we can finally say goodbye for good. Shotgun vs York is a rarity. It's a match that has been sitting back for I have no idea how long (and if anyone knows exactly how long it has been, please share with me cause I am honestly interested.)
I really dont know who Shotgun will be or what he will do, but I trully beleive that this is important for US. WE, the people who RPed for months, WE, the people who loved this place, and WE who after all this time, after the kids, the full time jobs, the wifes, the problems, everything, we just want to do it one more time. Make no mistake about it my friends, this is significant to us. And I'm sure we want to relive this, in the midst of the chaos that is our "adult" life, I guess, at least I, I want to sit down and type it one more time.
Keep me informed, and even though I havent consulted York at all, even though it might not be the classic that it could had been, we will do our best to steal the show one last time.
