You're correct. A part of it was lack of time. Honestly - if we would have just finished writing those results... the rest of the season would have run smoothly. But, I wanted to make an historic card. With some CLASSIC matches. It was shaping up that way... and then - HAMPTON, and SHOTGUN.. didnt come through with their assignments.
Now - when I say "assignments". I mean.. I asked if they could help write matches.. like they have in previous weeks, and they agreed. I still have never received a match from either of them. I completed most of my matches. But, realizing I'd have to write 2-3 more big matches, and still may have to write the matches they didn't.... well- there wasn't time. No way. Not that week. The following week. Lost the motivation, and everything just fell apart.
BUT -
I do know it would have been a great PPV, and a sweet season to boot. Who knows Falkenyork.. you may have retired the XWF as the CHAMPION.
I was hoping it would be YOU, and CROOKZ in the final's with Jones, and Hampton... but, Crookz bailed out, and ruined those temporary plans.
Though nothing is ever set in stone.. I thought we had created some nice new rivalries.
Things were looking good - I THOUGHT.
But, if I wrote those matches, and Hampton, and Shotgun lose... well - they'd be b###hing that I changed the ending because they didnt finish their matches. Or.. they'd b###h they had to write the matches.. only to be on the losing end. Sorry - I thought I had some help.. I didn't. I never got ahold of Blood.. and he was initially going to be my main writer.
It's cool.
I WILL release those results one day - in the entirety. I won't screw people over who worked hard for it, and busted their ass to write their roleplays.
And YES.. the XWF will have one last official run... with assigned writers... 3 JUDGES that aren't apart of the roster, and roleplayers who enjoy the atmosphere, and know that they can't win 'em all. That sometimes - LOSING one match.. might set you up for a bigger storyline in the end, and YOU would be the one on top of it all.
Look at Jones. He lost some matches.. he snuck away with that Elimination Chamber victory. Shotgun was about to have the greatest PPV of his career... I had a lot of great moments planned, and like I said - my help ducked me, and I couldn't carry the load that week. I apologize. I do. I was upset. My brother.. who joined as The Game. He was upset. Because, he helped run the XWF all those years ago, and he wanted to finish it out.
I wish we could have. But, I lost the motivation once the people I was depending on... turned against me, or didn't care to see how things would develop. We have/had some great roleplayers.. you, and Jones included. I hope to contact you all again one day, and like I said - we'll pick up where we left off. Because, things were about to start heating up, and competition was getting more fierce.
