It's changed alot since then. Improvements notwithstanding, just having a full building every night adds to the atmosphere. As for those cheesy banners you mentioned...they're gone, replaced by (among others) a Stanley Cup Champions banner. And although there is no big entry hall (perhaps due to our subtropical climate), we do have the Chrysler Jeep Plaza. Hang out there a bit before the game. As for The Trop...I want to hate it but I can't. I'm a purist at heart but with our climate, the game needs to be indoors.

You nailed it on Raymond James Stadium. I don't see how it isn't the best in the NFL although Heinz Field looks pretty impressive.
