Wow. I almost couldn't disagree more. PNC is nice, but without the city, it is really a farily unimaginatively designed park. Its decks aren't sloped enough for good sightlines, and the concourses are dark. Please visit rogerfweber.tripod.com to see my rankings. I like Jacobs Field the best, as it combines the classy uniqueness of an older park with the great advantages of being right downtown. It has arguably the best scoreboard and lots of social areas. It actually matches the city it is in, aiming not for retro, but for an industrial look, and it achieves it perfectly.
