Posted by Pete I agree Dolphins Stadium will always be first and foremost a football venue. As for RFK, I do think there are certain aspects of that park which do favor baseball, but also certain aspects that favor football--for example, from what I've heard, the outfield upper decks have poor sightlines because they are basically on top of the outfield fence, and therefore fans in those seats cannot see how fly balls land (And I can attest that Dolphins Stadium, when I was there for the NLCS and sat in the left field upper deck, normally closed for baseball, had the same exact problem--one of the reasons those seats are not regularly sold). Regardless of my emotional attachment to Dolphins Stadium, it will be good for the Marlins to get their own park--if they can ever get that done! (I personally think it will eventually get done, although some costs would be cut, perhaps in eliminating the roof requirement). But again, I appreciate your opinion, even though I might not agree 100%. You guys are living my fantasy, so keep up the great work. And it's great that you guys share my distaste for the Yankees. Both as a Marlins fan by location and an Orioles fan by birth (I was born in Maryland), I can't say I have any love for the Evil Empire!
