No doubt about it.
I prefer George Carlin's take on the subject:
"To my way of thinking, there are really only three sports: baseball, basketball, and football. Everything else is either a game or an activity."
Of course, that cancels out hockey, and we can't have that... but he calls hockey a non-sport because it doesn't feature a ball, and he complains about the low scores, but hey, when you're at a game, you tend to forget about that.
