Posted by Rob Simons The Ballpark at Arlington is an abortion of a stadium. They still have obstructed view seats - and lots of them. How can you do that in a modern stadium. Not to mention, many of the seats can't see the scoreboard because of the enormous amount of luxury boxes the put in. A black field in Texas - have you been here in August!? Which brings me to my biggest complaint - it is Texas, you have to have air conditioning (see the BOB and Minute Maid for how it's really done in hot weather.) And as for the BOB, it was the first to really pull off the ideal setting, real grass, open stadium for nice days, and air conditioning for hot days. You criticize that it's oppressively hot - but they have air conditioning! Besides, the atmosphere around the stadium is great. Finally, I would have to put Wrigley, Coors and Camden in the five star category. I wasn't impressed with PNC, but it was the last game of the season and they were just going through the motions. Incredible trip guys! As a Bills fan, I feel your pain about the Music City Miracle...errr...Rip-Off! PS: As a San Antonio resident, you were very kind to our new SBC Center. I guess you didn't notice that we put it in the absolute worst part of town imaginable. Thanks though.

I've seen 12 of the MLB venues in the last three years with my father and brother and can't agree with your rankings of The Ballpark at Arlington and the BOB.
