I've not lived in Washington long and can't get out to tourneys as often as I would like. Have to work weekends, so I have to plan ahead.
I'm living on the east side. Coule travel if I have to. I like a well run tourney with good/great competition.
Before someone says tristate, I've been there a couple of times....great competition, but facilities are disasterous and parking is a nightmare. Tourney scheduling is tragic. Not a smooth running tourney, administratively speaking. Condition of the mats was unspeakable.
Been to a couple of others on the east side...PNW Classic & Inland Empire. Been to Dream Duals. They're okay. Decent competition and runs pretty well.
I've been to the Tacoma Dome a couple of times. It's unique and stands on it's own.
My question, which tourney should I attend next year? Looking for Good/Great competition, tourney runs like clockwork, updated brackets regularly posted, creates memories for the athletes, and has a facility that doesn't leaving a lasting, bad impression.
You know the kind of tourney I'm talking about. Any recommendations for me for next year?
Come on GUX having a place for serious discussion without the anonymous random poke at whoever or whatever, doesn't make something feeble..so its slow boring and in active at times..but here you dont miss out on a good thread because of the thousands of..uh..gee..whos the best 175er or some wrestler or coach fishin for info on what others think of them..My 91 yr grandma is in a home for dimensia..thats a level of feebleness..its an inability to react quickly and rely almost solely on others for help..isnt that what you just did when asking about tournaments you should attend? Did you pose the same question on the other board...watch how quickly that spins off into real weird directions

Sorry man, I'd help you out if I could, but I have to follow my son's team around to all of the lame ones so I don't get a chance to go to the good ones other than Mat Classic. I know PAC COAST is a pretty good one down in Vancouver, and Battle at the Border in Blaine is pretty good. Snohomish puts on a pretty good one also.
