I think the usage chart we have now is pretty good on pitching. Even in the case of a Houck or a Nestor Cortes (who had 14 GS and 8 relief appearances this year for my team), they're eligible for a relief appearance so we're not shutting them out entirely. I am OK with either course regarding the three-day mandatory rest for pitchers. I think fatigue kinda polices itself regarding starts. If you pull a starting pitcher after 50 pitches, they should be able to throw in say, two days, if you want them to. And my experience is if you throw a starting pitcher that's fatigued, it's not going to go well.
