There have been many documentaries and movies about Jackie Robinson. Many touched on the battles Jackie Robinson faced and dealt with, but I have yet to see one recollection that interviewed players who admit to the racism they embraced. I would like to have heard from the players who regret their behavior or (as unlikely it would be) a justification of why they felt Black's should not be allowed to play. It's probably too late now as almost everyone is dead but an examination of the attitudes and mind sets would have been an education.
Baseball has finally evolved to get to the point where Negro League players are being recognized on the same level as the American and National League. For the dissenters who say that Negro League players statistics are not comparable to MLB stats because they did not face players from the American and National Leagues they need to realize that all National and American League players stats are diluted because those players didn't face the best of the Negro League players.
