I had asked Jim earlier about the same thing, except mine was more about pitchers with < 40 appearances. Based on what I am seeing (and guessing) for the NL, this is going to result in fewer type A free agents, being in the pool (I estimate ~30). I show 16 type B free agents, 46 total. Non-playoff teams will be able to sign up to 36 FA & playoff teams anywhere between 10-25. Could be more available picks than FA's. Of course, Jim will probably jump in and tell me where I am totally wrong (won't be the first time). On another note, how can such an epic series end on a umpire's check-swing call. Shameful.
