Tool I. D.

2006 Fall Auction, Oct. 12, 2006.
Item # 069, box opener.
I have a tool like this one, but mine has a spike on the left end. (hammer on the right end)
Who made these tools, and for what purpose?

I believe that is a crate hammer used for opening crates and heavy boxes.

Thank You, I believe your right?
But my other one has a point (marlinspike?)No I D that I can find.
