Trimont Mfg 24" pipe wrench

Does anyone know anything about theses wrenches the patent dat is 1903 it has "TRIMO-ALLOY" imprinted into it. So far all I have been able to find out is that they quit making this particular wrench in 1951. Should I try to preserve it or just keep using it ? Everything is intact and the wrench seems to be in very good shape , any information would be greatly appreciated

i was wrong about the patent the correct date is 3-5-18 and it was made in Roxbury Mass.

It's nice to have a old Trimont Pipe wrench. There is still many out there. Use your wrench but don't put a pipe on it for more leverage.Tools were made to use but not abuse.

I have one in almost perfect unused condition that I bought from MJD recently in a group of 7 wrenches. Total investment for all 7 was $77.
