I recently came into possesion of a bronze open double ended wrench. It is embossed with the AMPCO logo and the model number is apparently W-1216. One end is 2 3/4" and the other is 2 3/8" and the length is approximately 24". I am trying to track down an approximate manufacturing date, and what this non-sparking safety wrench may have been used for. I am guessing that it may have been associated with oil field work in Southern California, but any insights would be greatly appreciated.
