I found these in a ranch pasture, about 50 yards apart from each other. (I am attempting to link a photo below). These are early-looking adjustable wrenches with what seems to be a built-in hammer. I think they're the same, both about 9.25 inches long. I cannot see any maker's marks/names but they're pretty rusty, I didn't want to do any damage by cleaning. There was also early military activity, a wagon train, etc. in this area in the 1870's. Is there any possibility this style of wrench dates to the 1870's? Thanks for any help! http://dakotaphoto.smugmug.com/photos/437560522_hWL36-L.jpg
