Hi, my name is Karen and i'm 17 years old.....I've never been a big believer in teenage relationships....always thought they were pointless and that we're too young to know what love is. So i just spent my time in and out of meaningless relationships...until now...I've met the most amazing guy and we are crazy about eachother but i'm white and he's black.....I don't see anything wrong with it but my father does. Yet, my father has never even met him. My "father" just thinks that all african americans are "gang members" and so he thinks that my bf would be like that too. But he isnt at all. He acts whiter than me! He's the sweetest guy and i've never had such an amazing connection with anyone. My father took away my car, internet ( just got it back ), phone, took me off the track team b/c my bf does track, wont let me go to prom with him, and just refuses to meet him just b/c he's black. Neither my bf or I will end our relationship b/c of him...we have too much of a thing going to let it go....but we dont know what to do. We're both like depressed but will be even more depressed w/o each other.....someone please help us...what can we do?
