Dear Mary (I hope you still r looking for advise) my best friend dealt with this same sort of issue with falling in love with a close friend and they had dated but then he met other girls. The fact of the matter is that you never know how this guy is feeling currently it's really risky to go out on a lib, yet courageous at the same time. Guys really never know what they want. The main thing that you might want to focus on is that as your friendship grows stronger the closer you come together, it might not be physically yet to occur or it may never happen. You waited so long to tell him how you felt and in return has met a girl he really likes. Girlfriends come and go but a good close friend stays a long time, keep this in mind. If you plan on sticking around in this guys life then what is another day, week, month, year? Maybe youll find someone else who you want to be in a serious relationship. Who knows there are many fish in the sea although at the same time we always want that certain fish, eh! Best of luck, Anonymous?
