Firstly, you were right about the Brave Captin site. It's really quiet - a part from melz of course. I'm not sure about the alan comments - basically because I never paid that much attention at the time (It's a long story). All i know is that he basically soundtracked my youth. The Boo's, ride, Primal Scream, Teenage Fanclub, My Bloody Valentine etc... Internal arguements I know next to nothing about. But, if he did cause trouble for Martin and Co. then your statement is accurate. To add further trouble to what was already a, commercially at least, a fairly shaky foundation was not a good thing - if this was the case. It haven't got around to reading the book - if Alan didn't like, perhaps I'll put in more of an effort to give it a go - perhaps it reveals gory details etc. Thanks for web sites etc.
