I saw a band in southend called biff, bang, pow! and then thought of SFA but I don't think it's at all related... they were kind of fun though... a bit rock... kind of punk... nice organ. they were supporting Eddie and the hotrods... Well there's a piece of useless information for you.

: I do remember something - vague memories.
: You're right, I suspect, about Ball
: being a member, and I seem to
: remember reading something somewhere
: that confirmed your idea about SFA.
: As to where you might get hold of
: anything I couldn't say. It is
: possible that creation may have
: released something in the past -
: though I suspect you will already
: know the answer to that one. Be wary
: though - I suspect they may not have
: been any good, and that's putting it
: lightly. Can't remember if they only
: released singles or had full albums.
: Isn't memory a b###h - should have
: paid more attention. Hey! It might
: be in the creation book - when I get
: around to reading it I'll post any
: info that may be there on the site.
: Tom.

: I've been looking for that
: "Creation
: Records Story" thing for a
: while, but WH Smiths aren't in my
: good books at the moment. (pun not
: intended)
: Did anyone ever hear anything by
: McGee's old band
: "Biff-bang-pow"?
: Apparently Dick Green and Edward
: Ball were involved, so it sounds
: interesting to say the least. Maybe
: this is how the Furries got their
: lyric "It's easy when you know
: how to get along without biff bang
: pow"? I don't know.
: Melz.
