Let it be known that I am currently consulting an attorney consulting the theft of my song 'There She Goes". I wrote and performed this song in the early 80's with my punk band 'The Generics." I had sent our recording of the song to labels throughout England and California and I beleive this is where it was ripped off. The song was changed slightly enough to make ot SEEM original, but the plagarisim is obvious.
The title hook and melody are identical to my version of the song. I have been swindled out of thousands in unrealized royalties. All Boo Radley fans should realize the true author of this song. It is I, Pete Berwick. I will post any further legal developments. This kind of theft is common in the music businness. It is unfortunate that so often the true writers of songs do not receive due credit, but instead are preyed upon by inscrupulous pirates. Pete Berwick
