He gobbled for a half an hour before I could get there -- got set up and called once (was able to get really close) and he shut up for about 5 minutes than resumed gobbling for another 20 to 30 minutes (nonstop). I NEVER TOUCHED THE CALL AGAIN! He finally had to come see where that hen went. He busted me but it was too late for him, though it did take me more than one shot. This was my second KY bird for the year and I could have hunted easier birds but none more rewarding than Lapland birds (it almost gets personal with those knuckelheads). I know of at least 3 or 4 (Kevin, David&Ian along with Brian and Kevin may have gotten another). Everyone heard birds about everyday -- just not all birds were suicidal until late in the game.
