This youth shot a nice Tom that weighed 23 lbs, 8 1/2" beard and 1" spurs. Birds were gobbling good. We had called in a couple toms earlier but they busted us. Not sure why. We probably heard 8 differnt gobblers that morning. Here's the pic of the bird my buddies son shot opening day of
youth season.2004. He's 11 years old and his name is Derrick.
