The wind, that for so long had been that which carried her spirit upon it's back...she could feel it! And it carried other things now...scents almost forgotten, but familiar and calming. She felt the weight of her body, felt the air enter her lungs as she inhaled, her ribs shifting to accomodate before expelling the breath again...she heard her own heart beating a steady rhythm in her chest. And, slowly, as if afraid to wake from a dream, the silver wolf opened her eyes. The world had a certain visual dullness to it now...but it was a welcome change, for instead the land was enriched by a collage of scents and sensations. A spirit's senses were not the same as a mortals...for though they lost in touch, taste, and scent, they gained a faint connection with the beyond...a sixth sense that made the life in all creatures more vivid, colors clearer. That was gone to the silver wolf now, and though a small part of her missed that, it was more than made up for by the return of the feeling of the grass beneath her paws, and the scent of old friends carried upon the winds. Purple eyes finally fell to Kumi's fallen form, and the silver wolf frowned, uncertain whether Kumi's unconscious state was solely from the exhaustion of using such an all-consuming blessing, which was to be expected, or if there was something further. AmethystEyez could recall only too well that it had been her use of the blessing which had finally killed her, though she had known it would. The silver wolf moved (another odd sensation, to be forced to walk instead of glide soundlessly over the ground) to Kumi's side, lightly nudging her with her muzzle, watching to make certain that LZ's great-grandaughter still breathed.

Indeed, for one who had gone so long without the ability to feel anything at all, any sensation might have been odd...but this....it was impossible to describe. The silver wolf spirit watched as the ghostly mist that had been her recent existance began to flicker with silver sparks, solidifying far more than she had ever managed of will...until she was forced to close her eyes against the light. And then, she felt it...a slight tickle beneath her paws which began so faint as to be thought to be little more than imagining...but continued to strengthen. The odd sensation continued, moving upwards from the ground to reach up to the spirit's belly, continuing up her back to her neck and face, travelling right out to the tips of her ears and nose.
