What seemed almost like weeks, Rue padded into the land he now called home. Each step felt like a place he knew even though he had only just begun his alpha-ship here. Between his jaws was a young fawn... something him and Roulette had picked up on the way here and something the gryphon couldn't keep her beak off of instead of help.

She would slow him down considerably when she went to tear off a piece, shatter growling defensively at her and yanking it. But already having the piece made her stomach leap for joy and care less about his mean bickering. Rue on the other hand was waiting to eat it and glad to finally had made it back home.

Roulette decided to gnaw on her bit once she passed the perfect rock for her... Rue decided to let her be and found it much a delight to finally have her stop nagging at him. Finally dropping the carcass under the large willow ontop of the hill, the brute chowed down on as much as he could with some scaps to spare. He would have to go out soon enough to drag another to feed the rest of his pack. It was almost a relief that Roulette had been there to help him and gave him an opportunity to teach her some fighting skills.

Sitting up on his haunches and licking his blood stained chops, Rue scented a strong scent of one of the females in his pack. It had been a while since he had scented another active throughout the pack... and during his re-marking of the territory he had ran into her, tulip, one he was last to meet.

"Good evening Tulip." Rue stated noticing a great change in her appearance...
