"It'll be fine," Brun replied shortly, considering her options. She really had nothing else to say to Rue, but thought it polite to at least say something. She stood, small and lithe, and completely bored now that there was nothing else to do. Pack life was confusing.

"Rue," she started, contemplating her sentence lazily. "It's been a pleasure, but I'm going to go look around." Brun grinned wolfishly and took her leave, thrilled to find out about every nook and cranny in the packlands. She trotted briskly, looking from side to side. Eventually this got boring, and Brun slumped to the ground with a low wuff. A light wind blew past her figure as she eyed the grass before her eyes.
