Tulip called for her sister. One who didn't know what happened or what her sister even looked like...she had her own life to attend to. Tulip lay knowing there would be many questions to answer and she couldn't simply snap at her sister without her challenging back. She simply prepared herself for her identical older sister to come waltzing up to her with her still perfect body.
Moki finished his fish dinner as he lay and watched everyone around him. His mother and brother it was such a strange thing the love a son had for his mother...and she afraid to even care for him, or them. Even in his hatred for her Moki had a special love for his mother...enough never to take her life but enough hatred not to protect it either.
Orchid came into the land she left some time ago. she hadn't seen Seg in several days...it was the life she'd chosen in becoming alphess. Her head and tail was raised high as she came with the freedom and permission Frollo had given her to see her sister. The red fey was surprised and speechless at the sight of her sister. "Tulip what happen!?" genuinely worried about her sister She went to nuzzle her and spotted the boys. "hello." she said cautiously..."and who are you?" she said thinking Tulip had saved them rather than birth them.
"They are my...my...sons" Tulip answered avoiding the question before.
"Pups...sons?" she said in awe. She smiled at the boys. "I'm your aunt Orchid...do you know what happened to your mother?"
"No" Tulip answered quickly "No they don't know they don't need to know"
"They do...their your sons...in your old age they will be all you have" The sisters hadn't seen each other in many months and here they were arguing about what happened. Orchid wouldn't back down and Tulip knew she wouldn't
"Well if you must know and if they must know I was attacked shortly after you left the pack...he is their father." she said, "That's why I won't leave he's out there...he could be waiting for me. You should watch out...you know we were identical before my scars." She said to her sister. "look go with your aunt she'll show you how to hunt. I'll be here when you return"
Moki looked on silently...and whispered to his brother, "So that is what mom looked like before us. She was so pretty" he said admiring his aunt.
