The same could be said for Frollo. He too had little to say. In silence he watched the process of birth. In silence he watched Kumiko's sister drift away. In silence he watched his mate reveal a sadness never before witnessed. Worry took a hold of him.
A smell was all he had. What could he do with just a smell? So much was going on that it was troublesome to concentrate on the only evidence Frollo could link to Moriko's attacker.
"Don't worry," Frollo tried to assure her. "I won't stop looking, ever."
Frollo's two pups lingered over to Moriko, curious and horrified. Then they went over to the dead's puppies and assisted in their need for cleaning.
Frollo lowered his head and spoke low, "Do you ... have any idea of where this attack could have happened, maybe?"
