Li-Kumiko had returned to him, and that the alpha overwhelmingly happy. Although there was a bad feeling, Frollo had asked his mate if they wanted to try raising pups again. Now, he was returning to his pack lands, his worst fears incarnated.
Frollo looked over his shoulder. His new son, Okay, followed near his heals. There was a great temptation to kick him away, but Frollo fought. He would be a good father, but, lord, how were you supposed to be good to a living disorder? Okay was just like he imagined: white, with ugly curls of color similar to the snarling statues of Aztec gods. His eyes were just like his own, but empty. What could the little devil be thinking?
Lagniappe was allowed to come closer to Frollo, she walked to his left. She wasn't evil, he knew she would be a good child. If anyone, it was her Frollo would love the most.
Suddenly Frollo became aware of a new smell, one similar to Kumiko's, and not long after he saw the stuggling female. He raced over, forgetting about his pups. He was positive that this was Mori, if not then he would help anyways. When he got closer he thought she was dead. After examining her and sniffing her face, he sighed, relieved that she was only sleeping.
"Who is it, Father?"
All of the hairs on Frollo's neck frizzed. Okay had come up to Mori and imitated his father's sniffing.
"Leave her alone," Frollo growled and pushed Okay away with his paw.
Lagniappe sat by her brother, thinking that she shouldn't get closer to Mori either. If she had, Frollo would have let her stay.
Silently, Frollo cast the feeder blessing. As much of his energy drained, her body became well fed. When she aroused Mori should feel better. The alpha winced. Mori seemed too far gone. He hoped that he wasn't too late.
