Frollo dipped his muzzle. What a hard difficult situation his mate was experiencing. If only he could have known ...
"I can feed her," he said. "I have the feeder blessing--that can make her so full she'll have to worry about her insides bursting instead of being sick." There was some humor in Frollo, but otherwise it was shaky.
Also not knowing where LZ had wandered off too, Frollo shrugged his shoulders. Important wolves tended to be unpredictable, in his opinion.
"Things have been ..." Frollo paused for a moment. "Good. Yes, quite good. Right after I became alpha a wolf named Anarchy challenged my position. It was a thrilling fight: best I ever had. After words I went to the Ice pack. See, I wanted to start blessing training, but Wind Gale was short on members so I thought an alliance with Ice could fix that. Most of everyone from there came, and I trained them to used Fire Breath. Then Bandido from the Earth pack came over in the middle of this and wanted to form an alliance with Wind Gale also!" Frollo stopped to breathe. He was smiling. Now that he was talking about it he was seeing how well things had been for the summer.
"Right there I could tell that there was an old quarrel between the Ice and Earth alphas, so I suggested a meeting. All of us alphas got together, along with out closest members, and Bandido brought a the alpha of the Kuna pack with her, they wanted to form an alliance also, and after the meeting started they were discussing about getting the Water pack involved! But then this young wolf interrupted us, his name was Dray. He warned us about Lestat having an idea to activate a volcano in Wolf Mountain. That set off a fire: everyone began to talk their heads off about that mongrel collie.You know what I did? I told then to shut their traps and go home to their packs if they wanted to wait out the volcano, but I was going to snuff that vampire out. Everyone agreed with me that Lestat had to be stopped that instant, so we all left. We got to the volcano and fought with this dulity dragon and cornered this one wolf (no one else was there, oddly, except for Lestat and this one other fellow, I think). But ..." Frollo winced. Here was the bad part. "Everyone seemed to have a purpose. Bandido went after Lestat, along with some other older wolves, while some more fought off the dragon. I tried ... but everything I did was futile." A great sigh came from Frollo. "It wasn't a vain invasion though. The volcano was stopped from causing major harm to Wolf Mountain and Lestat has died."
