It was like that in most situations, yet in all honesty, the small grey wolf was nearly one-hundred percent oblivious to all the on-goings. To her, it was just another day to return to Wind Gale and see if her old friend was doing well. But the scents that all intermingled at the border only confused her. She had smelled many of these scents back in the Ice Pack awhile ago, and at the meeting that had occured before the battle that had taken place at Wolf Mountain. But why here? She no longer smelled Lone Zelda; the scent had become so stale, she had to lower her nose to the grass to be sure she was at the right border. Aesthetically, she knew she was, but by scent... something had changed. Now it smelled so much more like Frollo. Had he finally siezed his opportunity? The small wolf traveled forward, not needing to go far before seeing where all of these scents were coming from. Some recognized more than others. It took her awhile t sort it out, but it appeared that the main theme here was pack leaders. Her light blue eyes finally caught Frollo, and her tail wagged a bit... but it didn't seem like an extremely cheery and congratulatory meeting. She slowed down, unsure of whether to turn back or find out what was going on. It seemed like pack business, which really wouldn't concern her. Her tail lowered, curling slightly between her legs and her ears turned down a bit as well, a slightly guilty expression on her face.
"Hello Frollo. Um... well I can come back later...?" As if her interuption hadn't been subtle enough, a large scarlet dragon landed with a thud behind her, raising his head with little guilt and peeking curiously over Niwah's head. Unlike his master, he had never really met Frollo, but was still rather attached to her and didn't allow her to go out on her own. She was very inexperienced when it came to fighting. Owning blessings wasn't helpful when she was too timid to cause true harm to any opponent, and Otaktay wasn't very afraid of getting his claws dirty. But at the moment, he was more curious than worried. Niwah's embarassment went unnoticed to the red-headed lizard dragon, although he had no place to talk or ask questions; Niwah had already spoken, so he'd allow it to go.
Chilali, on the other hand, found it her rightful place to see what was occuring. She had been here almost as long as Frollo, and he had shown earlier that something was worrying him. Oddly enough, she did not seek any trouble; the large tundra wolf slowly stepped behind Frollo, flicking her tail and nodding to the others who had gathered, before following Taniku's suit and lying down behind her alpha, although keeping her head up, dull golden eyes searching the faces carefully. None of these faces were familiar to Chilali. Only their scents. Niwah smelled like the water pack, but it was a very old scent. The rest was the wolf's own unique smell, which rubbed slightly on the dragon. Her eyes stopped at Toric. A collie? There weren't many of those around here, and the only other one was the collie that had tried to kill Wolfy a year or so ago. She could easily piece this together... but this one didn't seen very evil. The white wolf was slightly confused, and glanced towards the timid-looking wolf, rolling her eyes slightly. She was tempted to play bully with the small wolf, but she was on a roll with being serious for once, and Frollo was no longer playing games. He had already proved he was a powerful wolf, and Chilali didn't want to be more evidence.
It did occur to her that the only pack that wasn't here was the Coral Flower pack. She recounted again; Bandido, alpha of Earth, Seg, alpha of ice, Taboo, alpha of Kuna, Toric... no, Water was missing as well, although she guessed Niwah could play messenger for them if it was needed. Did this have something to do with what Frollo spoke of earlier, that danger? If so, Chilali wanted to know. Part of her wanted to get up and find somebody who knew about the mountain, but another part wanted to stay and see what was going on here. In the end, her curiousity was getting the best of her. She shot a glare at large red dragon, shifting slightly. "I think it's a bit more crowded in here than it needs to be. What exactly are we talking about?"
