Frollo shot up and his jaws snapped mechanically. The dribble coming from his nose made his face look like a demon's. Since he was standing up the scars Frollo had acquired while Chilali was out parading with her fairy unicorn showed. On his shoulder was the roman numeral three that would throb in pain during the nighs. Both sides of his neck had scars furred white: one received when he was a pup and the other that was much bigger given to him in return for skin and his dominance.
"Shut up!" he roared. "Maybe if you had been loyal to the pack you'd know exactly what is endangering us." Frollo looked down and licked his nose to clean it. His face twitched with rage. "Damn them ... they're nothing but lonely scavengers to this mountain."
The alpha shook his head. "Never mind. That is only a peeve. I've only noticed the gatherings of tougher wolves. This pack needs protection. More members ... wolves, felines." Frollo turned away, muttering defence plans to himself. He needed to keep Chilali here, despite her annoyance to him. Another body was better for the pack.
"I'm thinking of forming an alliance with the Earth pack. I'll be leaving tomorrow," he said.
