She smirked lightly, but her expression became completley straight at his next remark. Grow up? Stop snapping? Was he serious? This was what she looked forward to after a long day! Ages of being enemies, and now he wanted to be serious? And what danger was he talking about? Either Chilali was missing out, or Frollo was a bit weak in the head. But toning down her fiesty... it just wasn't likely. She shook her head slightly, but mainly to her own thoughts.
"What exists of the pack, you mean," she mutterd, unable to resist. She lifted her head slightly, gazing down at him from her risen muzzle. "And what danger do you speak of? I have yet to see it and be affected by it, so I see no reason to change things for the sake of it. You can be as serious as you like, but I see no need to fret over what has yet to happen." She tossed her head slightly and smirked. "After all, I don't run from danger. It runs from me."
Even though things weren't exactly that way, they were close enough, and Chilali's ego was big enough to make the comment seem truthful. She and Chepi had been through rather tough battles, left with large scars, and still weren't afraid to go back into them. She was clearly a born warrior, at least physically, although magic wasn't something she was made for. Still, her confidence was enough of a shield for the artificial powers creatures of this mountain came to conjure.
