Too busy concentrating on breathing properly, Frollo did not hear the youngster giggle. He went to his tree and plopped down. Right away he wouldn't be able to sleep, so he pouted.
Not too far away, Spitz and Lobo were entering the pack lands after a long, quiet stroll. It was unusual to see these two together, ever since Lobo, the musk ox, had stepped on and broke off Spitz's tail by accident. The small stump on Spitz's rump wagged occasionally. He noticed the smell of new wolves right away.
The wolf made short yelps for the company to join him and the musk ox.
"Who could they be, Lobo?" Spitz asked when he finished.
"New members. How nice for Frollo. Things have been awfully dead around here ever since LZ left," the musk ox remarked with his slow, hallow voice.
