Katmandu walked into the lands not really fearing for an ambush for his best friend flew high to be his eyes when he couldn't see. Brut and Man had been friends since the falcon hatched Man was a cub himself and left home the moment the bird could fly. The duo had been hunting partners and although the falcon was an evil sort Brut knew that Katmandu will not be taking part in any battle that was not his own. They had endured much cold especially for the winged one for the larger than normal lynx was used to the cold and had many seasons of fur to make the travel easier for him.
"I think this is it." he said out loud not yelling for the falcon had ears that could hear on forest floor. with the comment he landed on a nearby perch.
"The Wind Gale Pack. Believed to be one of the most powerful. it's members are legendary and it's alpha is powerful. I am so glad you decided to join with me." Brut said. he flew and landed on the shoulder of his lifetime buddy.
The pair continued to walk deeper and deeper into the lands it would not be long before they met someone.
