Posted by LZ on October 13, 2007, 6:26 pm Lz's fur was beginning to get shaggy again. As he was getting older, his fur would grow a little bit longer each winter. First it was not noticeable. Now, one can tell he was a bit shaggier than normal, but it wasn't overly dramatic. Very slight. As of right now, it was only at the very start. It did not bother Lz, just made him feel a bit more dog-like. A yawn find its way out of Lz as his gazes around. Baren. Nothing unusual. Another day alone, another day to think. Had he lost all the spunk and will he once had? Things had changed, and he didn't know if it was good or not. Lz sighed slightly, eyes now gazing down at his fading goldenish paws. Ears now pressed against his blackened fur. He closed his eyes tight and bit his lip. Suppressing whatever emotion was trying to take over. His body was tense for a few moments. His eyes opened again, and once again gazed across the land. Lz began walking again. He traveled to his usual spot. He sat down in the usual way. He expected the usual, alone until sleep comes. Then his dreams would keep him company...

...Time had passed, slowly but surely. It was one of those strange feelings. It felt like it took so long, and then out of now where months had passed. He wasn't sure if he liked this is not, but it happened if he liked it or not. Time was only in the back of his mind, playing around with him from time to time. As he traveled slowly across the grassy land, more important things were on his mind. But, when were they not? It was beginning to get cold again. Lz had mixed emotions about the change in weather. He enjoyed the smell of cold air, it made life seem fresh again. Sometimes, it reminds him of how lonely he can get. He would see young wolf couples cuddling together to warm themselves. He would have a longing for that again, but, of course he would push it out of his mind. He knew he could never have that again. Why bother being pained over it?
