Of course, his voice was as kind as a deep voice could get. He wanted Cruz to feel good here. And as his first gesture of Lz's acceptance of Cruz he, would offer his kill. Lz's golden ears perked and swiveled as a call from Ammie was heard. He tried hard to contain his excitement, and his grin turned into a full smile as he looked off into the cloudy distance. Dropletts seemed to dance as he lifted his head and made a short howl in reply to Ammie, telling her he would find her soon enough. He looked back at Cruz, "That wolf is AmethystEyez, the beta female of these lands. She is also a dear friend of mine. Hopefully you will meet her soon." He licked his cream maw once again, remembering his kill. He tilted his head slightly as his orange eyes gazed over Cruz's small form. "Are you hungry, Cruz? I have food if you need it. You look like you had quite a journey." (Sorry for the quick posts. Don't feel too good right now! I like your writing style a lot though. )

LZ didn't mean to frighten the young wolf dog. Now he felt bad for doing so, but there wasn't much more to do than make him feel as comfortable as possible. Orange eyes watched as the much smaller male went into a submissive position. Heck, Cruz did better than most. Wolves around here seem to have lost their respect in that sense, often just barely submitting with a slight head lowering. Needless to say, LZ was rather impressed by Cruz. Such respect was always to be rewarded. This led LZ to relax. His tensed shoulders relaxed a bit, Cruz had no scent of evil on him and LZ could tell Cruz was genuine. His gold tipped tail began to wag a bit. It has been a long time since someone new had wanted to join the Wind Gale pack. He couldn't remember who the newest member was anymore it had been so long. He was glad to have a new member.
