Posted by LZ on March 3, 2007, 5:45 am, in reply to "Neither WindRacer nor AmethystEyez moved until the dragon had moved further off." LZ listened to the small conversation between the two. As his eyes left the form of the dragon, he caught the look from WindRacer, seeing the worry he held. He felt his worry, and knew it well as he often worried about Ammie himself. He knew at that moment, through WindRacer's hard exterior, he truly loved and cared for his mother. He gave the smallest of nods, barely noticeable. It wasn't exactly in response to WindRacer's internal request, but more of LZ reassuring himself that he had to make sure nothing happened to Ammie, for the sake of everyone that cared for her. His eyes held concern for WindRacer all the same. He was obviously injured. He watched as WindRacer began to leave, and eyes darted towards Ammie as she decided to attempt to go after him. An attempt that ended in failure. He knew she was tired, and now he would have to make sure she rested and took care of herself. He took a few steps quickly over to Ammie as she fell, and put himself close next to her. If she so chose so, she could easily lean against him. A small whine of worry left him, he didn't know what to do. There wasn't any food around at the moment, and all he could think of to feed Ammie with was the Jelly Bean blessing. Quickly, he made a pile of jelly beans the size of a small rabbit in front of Ammie. It was not tiring, because for some odd reason creating jellybeans from thin air was one of the easier blessings. He nudged her muzzle slightly, his voice obviously filled with concern and worry. "Your body NEEDS you to rest. Lay down and eat a little..." He didn't know if she would do so, but he hoped she would. She would be unable to go after WindRacer...but, perhaps LZ could. "Do you want me to go after him? or stay here with you?" He didn't mind doing either one. He was not sure how WindRacer would react if he did go after him, but he would try to help him as much as he could if that was what Ammie wanted. He also wanted WindRacer to be okay...his gash didn't look too good, and truthfully LZ wanted to go after him and at the very least heal him. Most likely that would take care of some of the damage. But at the same time, he didn't want to leave Ammie alone in the cold, unable to move. Unsure what to do, he waiting for Ammie to respond.

When the dragon was farther off, his general stance became instantly more relaxed. His hackles returned to normal, and he was no longer ready to attack/be attacked. But just because the dragon was gone didn't mean things were all good. LZ didn't want to get too involved in something that is not truly his business. He would only do something or get involved in Ammie wished so. Otherwise, it was between her and her son.
