The silver wolf almost breathed a sigh of relief...almost, because a moment later Toric cried out in pain. Had something gone wrong with the life blessing? Was life restored only to be removed again? It took the silver wolf but a moment to assess the situation, and to realize what had happened. As the life blessing had failed to restore her son's sight, so now, it seemed, had failed to heal some injuries that Toric must have borne. Not knowing how he had died made it difficult for AmethystEyez to know the nature and extent of those wounds, but she knew that calling upon her own powers could not hurt him. Whether or not they could help.... And so, the silver wolf closed her eyes, concentrating on the magics she held in her power. Once more the air took on a faint glow, surrounding herself and the collie, as she cast out with her heal blessing, not certain if it would do any good or not.

She glanced toward the lifeless corpse as light surrounded it, holding her breath without realizing it. Was this what she thought it was?
