At first, the ghost had lingered behind at the site of his death, trying in vain to comfort his mate, until something rather obvious occured to him and he rushed back to his body.
To those watching, the body was surrounded by the light of a blessing seemingly from out of no where, and as the light faded, his life was restored. Life Blessings are unpredictable things, however, and one can never know just how effective one will be.
Toric gasped in a breath, and then cried out in pain. This Life blessing had undid the removal of spirit from body caused by its deadly counterpart, but it had repaired only the injuries that would have sent its user straight back into death. The damage from his fall that was not fatal had been ignored by the magic, leaving Toric to revive in agony.
